Maintain An Emotional Balance
Happy Sunday!
Hope everyone had an awesome weekend and ready to settle in and follow it up with a fun and productive week coming up. I wanted to talk about how with the day to day grind, work, kids and the like, we can sometimes be thrown off track when it comes to focus and our goals. While some professionals treat this subject by instructing people to perform like machines and disregard their feelings. I, on the other hand, encourage you to embrace you feelings, good or bad but always ask yourself a very important question afterwards…”How does this (insert emotion situation here) help me to accomplish my goals?” As long as you are asking yourself this question, it will allow you to experience the emotion, maintain control and govern it accordingly.
We always here about proper balance when it comes to our eating strategy (hope that phrase is growing on you!) and exercise, but seldom is mental exercise and balance mentioned with the same level of consistency. It is imparative to keep this balance for many factors. One of the first triggers for weight loss is mindset. If you are not motivated mentally to lose weight or push yourself through a workout, then you have demonstrated a weak will to accomplish. The body picks up on everything that you process mentally.
As you are back into the grind this week working, just remember to have a great mental attitude. In the end, this is going to be the deciding factor in how all of your endeavors turn out.
Thanks For Reading.
Have a Great One!
