IF I Could Have, Would Have
Finished…done and walking away with no remorse or sorrow…is that how you intend to leave the things that you do for fun and enjoyment after you reach a certain age or some other reason that will no longer allow you to commit? If you have ever invested in your dreams and had great visions of how to accomplish and enjoy the benefits of your mental prowess, you understand putting all of your eggs into one basket.
For some, success in judged in what they were able to complete or put together with limited resources, short time frame or just closing on a venue or location. The first time entering a gaming tournament, first karate class… is one time enough for anything? I guess you could say that some on the flip side would say one time is enough for bungee jumping or appearing on Survivor, unless you happen to be Boston Rob! The truth of the matter is to never let anyone or anything stand in the way of your dreams, goals and wishes. We as people get too caught up with making sure that the proper balance is met before venturing on into fulfilling our promise. Usually I would say not to forgo your responsibilities, in this instance when it comes to the pursuit of perfection and your happiness, be selfish and go for it.
As long as your goal is sound and go for it! Let nothing and truly no one stop you. The worst thing to say at 70, 80 years old is: “If only I had, I would have…”
