Information and Inspiration
Good Day Everyone! I wanted to come on for a few minutes this morning and give you a breath of fresh air in your approach to you life, exercise and even eating. Enjoy!
Set your goals to eat healthy and exercise six days a week. Then give yourself one day to eat junk. (You’ll probably be satisfied with less junk if you’ve been good all week). If six days is too hard make it five (or whatever you can handle) and change your goals later. Use this process and your chances of success are going to be very good.
Don’t hit it too hard at first. You’ll burn yourself out fast and you’ll never develop good habits. Ease into good habits and you’ll accept them. Developing good habits over time will ensure success; trying to change too fast will ensure failure.
When setting weight loss goals always keep this in mind: How long did it take to put that weight on? Getting it off is going to be different for different people, but it is going to be relative also to old long term habits.
OK, this is a plug. But I wouldn’t put it in if I didn’t fully 100% believe in it:
The easiest way to consistently exercise is to do it throughout the day. This means that even at work sitting at your desk you can do a form of dips from your office chair. You can also do inverted pushups off of a wall or even your desk. Anything that is going to raise your resting heart rate and get your cardiovascular system moving is going to pay dividends immediately. Your posture, mood will pick up due to the receptors being activated and your feeling of accomplishment. Remember, exercise and fitness might be reflected in mindset and the physical results of your work. However, these two factors can not be fully attained if you have the wrong attitude.
Have a Great Day Everyone!
